Commemorating Women's Equality Day with NEA Chair Maria Rosario Jackson | National Endowment for the Arts

Tomorrow we celebrate Women's Equality Day, which commemorates the adoption of the 19th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution finally codifying women's right to vote. As we pause to remember our history we also honor the artists and arts organizations who work to help us continue to move toward a more just and equitable world for everyone. -- NEA Chair Maria Rosario Jackson
