The National Endowment for the Arts 2001 Regional Partnership Agreements support:
- a Basic Regional Plan Component, which provides basic support for a regional plan.
- a Presenting & Touring Component, which supports multistate presenting and touring programs.

The National Endowment for the Arts 2001 State Partnership Agreements support:
- a Basic State Component, which provides funds that agencies can use to address priorities identified in each state's basic state plan.
- an Arts Education Component, which supports those elements of a state's plan that address arts education.
- an Arts in Underserved Communities Component, which supports those elements of a state's plan that foster the arts in rural, inner-city, and other underserved communities.
- a Challenge America Component, which provides funds to address shared agency and state priorities in the areas of arts education, access to the arts, positive alternatives for youth, cultural heritage and preservation and community arts development.
